After a series of consecutive floods struck Vietnam’s central regions, Typhoon No. 9, Molave, hit with level-12 winds, causing heavy rain, flash floods, and landslides. Residents of the flood-prone areas had to endure an extremely difficult time. Hundreds of families lost their homes and were left with nothing after the flood.
Unable to stand still in the face of this situation, many donors, volunteers, and local authorities, both individuals and organizations, promptly provided relief to help people in need overcome this hardship.
Responding to that spirit, the staff, volunteer team, and family members of Titani Solutions participated in a donation activity to extend as many helping hands as possible to people in Central Vietnam. This fundraising activity took place over four days (October 19–22, 2020), resulting in VND 251,100,000, which was distributed to those in need. We collaborated with two volunteer groups on two main activities, working hand in hand to support disadvantaged areas in urgent need of assistance.
In cooperation with the “Áo Xanh Nhân Ái” volunteer group, we donated 100 packages of essential goods to people in Dien Truong Village, Ba Don Town, Le Thuy District, Quang Binh Province, on October 30–31, 2020.
At the same time, the second volunteer group, with the direct participation of Mr. Nguyen Tan Thanh, CEO of Titani Solutions, accompanied by Hai Tien Trading Steel Company, Truong Loc Auto Trading Service Joint Stock Company, De Nhat Oto Co., Ltd., and Southern Waves Solutions, began their aid journey from October 24 to November 2, 2020. They successfully delivered 750 packages, each worth VND 750,000, to people in A Doi Commune and Xy Commune in Quang Tri Province, Quang Ninh Province, Quang Binh Province, Ly Son Island, Mo Duc Town in Quang Ngai Province, and Hoai Nhon Town in Binh Dinh Province.
In addition, this group provided 20 special gifts worth VND 1,350,000 each, including necessities and VND 1,000,000 in cash, to families in extremely difficult circumstances at four locations: A Doi Commune, Xy Commune, Quang Ninh Province, and Ly Son Island.
In a nutshell, both groups were successful in extending a helping hand to disaster-stricken communities in Central Vietnam, particularly through Titani Solutions and its cooperating partners.
